Patton's Photo Gallery
Pattton is and will always be the “Joy of My Life”. He came to our family as a puppy, and grew up alongside my 3 boys, Jack (13),Ben (11), and Max (7). Patton was supposed to be a birthday present for Jack’s first birthday, but turned out to be the greatest gift that I will ever receive. He brought me so much joy, took me to so many wonderful places, and gave me every bit of himself everytime I asked him to. We ran our first field trial in Minnesota when he was about 15 months old, and took second place in the derby. I had never been to a trial before, and didn’t quite understand what people complained about. Patton made it all seem so easy!! We went on to run many more trials, both of us competing and learning along the way. Patton took us to eight Nationals, finishing five of them as a Finalist. He made me so proud of him, time after time. He always knew when we were competing, and when his best performance was needed. He could be a “clown” all day, but when it was our turn to go to line, he was always my partner. He left me on December 22, at 4:00, laying in my arms, on his bed, in “his” car, “The Pdog”. It was his favorite place to be. May “My Joy” always rest peacefully, and be waiting with that big smile, when we get to be together again.
